Wanna try something new? Free Balkan folk dancing classes on the hill! March 20, 27, and April 3

Not sure if posts like this are allowed, but I wanted to share some free classes with y’all in case any of you want to try something new 🙂

Seattle Balkan Dancers meets @ the Russian Community Center on Cap Hill (704 19th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112) on Fridays. We mostly do circle and line dances from the Balkans (here’s a reaaaally outdated video if you’re curious what that looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlgFv1Jxzr0 )

We’re hosting some free Balkan Dance Basics classes from 7:00-7:30 PM on Fridays: March 20, March 27, and April 3.

Pro for the fellow introverts out there: no partners! But a con for fellow introverts: there is a lot of hand-holding.

After the class, you’re free to stay and dance with us! It’s pretty informal; people chat and sit around, and there are free snacks.

We’re a nonprofit and run on donations, but there’s no pressure to contribute. We’re intergenerational, don’t take things too seriously, and there are always friendly people willing to teach you along the way.

We also have a website if you wanna read up about us: https://seattlebalkandancers.org/
