Not usually one to post like this but I found a spot in Fremont called Botanicale and it’s way too great to stay under the radar. I’ve been trying to find a go-to wine bar and after going here I actually got a bunch of other recommendations to check out too, so I’ve got a list now, but this one just stuck with me It’s a natural wine bar with a bunch of other drink options where the owner knows all the producers and tells you little stories, a really nice outdoor garden space. Super chill, not pretentious, and the he actually helps you pick wine without making you feel dumb. Also… tinned fish? Didn’t think I’d be into it but here we are. I’ve been twice now and both times I left thinking “how is this not packed?” Feels like one of those small businesses that could either take off or disappear depending on whether people find it so, figured I’d throw it out here.
