I posted here a bit ago about my first trip to Seattle, and honestly, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.
I’ve spent the last few years traveling through some of the biggest metro areas in the US, and I’m used to that frantic, anonymous “big-city rush” where everyone is just in a hurry to get past you. But Seattle feels… different. It still feels like a massive community rather than just a collection of people.
One thing that really struck me was how much you guys support your local businesses. You can tell those shops have roots because the community actually makes an effort to keep them alive. It gives the city a soul that’s hard to find in other huge urban hubs. Plus, the overall vibe was just so respectful and open-minded, it felt peaceful in a way I didn’t expect.
I’m already looking at flights to come back. I spent too much time looking at planes during my first trip (no regrets, lol), so next time I want to actually hit the trails and finally try some of that famous seafood I missed.
Honestly, I’m just excited to get back into that atmosphere. If anyone has a favorite “local secret” or a trail they love, I’m all ears, but I’m mostly just looking forward to being back in such a welcoming city.
Thanks for being such a cool city. Can’t wait to be back.
