I’ve had a extremely frustrating couple months dealing with large corporations. ATT store lied to me and costs me hundreds. Fed ex truck hit my car and refused to pay for months until I threatened legal action. Honda tried to make me pay $225 to perform a diagnostic test to make sure that my child’s seatbelt was under warranty, and then after 4 hours they said they don’t even have the part in stock and don’t know when they will. I had my debit card stolen and someone in Mexico rang up $2k in charges and Wells Fargo just straight up lied and said they had proof it was me that used it and wouldn’t help me. Today I see the president is hawking his sons book, which is supposed to be illegal, but there is no accountability.
All these companies cheat the customer and nothing ever happens. You just keep taking it up the ass, and the rich get richer.
To lick my wounds, I headed to one of my favorite places in Seattle, Mendoza’s Market to get a chili relleno. While there I made a comment about how two of the other dishes looked really good and I can’t wait to try them. I don’t know if the owner knew I was having a bad or not, but when I got in my car and opened the bag, there was an extra box of food with portions of the other two dishes. I almost cried. Not just because the food is so good, but because it reminded me that there are companies that just don’t want to squeeze every penny out of you and give a shit about customer service and providing a good experience.
