My wife and I have a toddler and we end up with very little alone time together. We both happen to be off on Friday and have about 9am until noon available before we have to get our kid. I want to surprise her with some kind of fun date thing instead of just going to breakfast or staying at home. Something simple like going to the movies would have worked but I guess movies don’t start until noon these days?
Can anyone give some recommendations/ideas? She isn’t too picky but we’ve been in a “young child parent” routine for a while and I want to remind her how special she is to me. She wouldn’t mind doing something outdoorsy but a long walk/hiking wouldn’t work.
