Hi! Just wanted to take a minute to make a statement and a request! Im a 35 year old autistic adult who loves history and aviation. I had the privilege of visiting from Olympia this past weekend! My best friend took me to the Museum of Flight for a laye birthday present. She made it a full day that was all about me! I just wanted to say that being able to interact and see all those rare and historic planes and artifacts was a real privilege. Its rare for me to be given a gift like that. I had an absolute blast and I never ever felt so welcome that I could just openly stop masking in public. If anyone here has any affiliation at all with the museum I just wanted to say thank you so much for giving me one of the best birthdays ever. The bf 109 and the 787 dreamliner were memories I won’t ever forget.
A small request if you all don’t mind though. I took lots of pictures, but there was so much going on that I forgot to get a photo of the Concorde! An absolutely striking sight! If anyone else went and took a picture, can I have it? Thank you so much! And again. Thank you Seattle. This meant a lot.
