This is a long shot but

On May 4th in the late afternoon, my friend was found unconscious outside El Grito Taqueria in SLU (Fairview and Thomas intersection). All she remembers is feeling lightheaded and crouching down by the light pole, but when she woke up in the hospital, the doctors said her brain hemorrhaging and skull fracture on the back of her head is consistent with an attack injury.

Nobody nearby claims to have seen anything suspicious, although someone mentioned a suspicious man and a truck (?) and none of the nearby businesses claim to have any camera footage from around that time.

The police have been unhelpful, and I know this is a long shot, but if anyone happens to have any footage from around that time (I know cars sometimes park along the sidewalk – maybe dash cam footage?) – anything would be helpful. She did have a group assist her, but nobody followed up.
