Coyotes are running in packs up and down Ballard and aren’t afraid of entering apartment parking lots or yards.
A neighbor and I got to sit with a cat as it died from its injuries following a vicious battle in my apartment’s driveway. If we hadn’t heard it, a lot of kids would have learned what a torn up cat looks like on their way to school this morning.
Keep your cats indoors or assume they’ll be coyote chow.
