So I used to live in Redmond and bai thong was super super good takeout. Little pricey I ordered it once in seattle and thought…wow the seattle spot is nowhere near Redmonds…like the quality went down 75%.
Fast forward to me last night. I flew in to seattle late and just wanted something easy. I took a week of work and am paid by the hour(electrician) and wanted cheapish and easy. I said “ok I’ll give seattle bai tong another shot and ordered there. But I set pick up because fuck the $20 up charge I’m already in my car. I pulled up to a warehouse! With grubhub, uber eats, and DoorDash on the side of the door ! THIS IS NOT BAI THONG THIS IS A GHOST KITCHEN! How shady because an actual bai thong is a mile away!
Beware! The quality is much much worse!!! I was not aware local names were giving their brand to ghost kitchens. I’m so so sorry if this has been discussed but I am flabbergasted!
