Since everyone elese seems to be using this to shout at the wind ill take my turn. If you don’t have handicap plates/placard or aren’t assisting someone who does dont use these spots. And when someone asks you not to use them the correct response isn’t “well do you need it.” I even asked if the plates he was changing were to handicap plates and they werent. Hopefully they ended up moving. A lot of disabled people get picked up. I myself drive only during the day and only short distances. Anything else i have to be picked up. The person i use for rides consistently has a copy of my placard and uses it only at times when assisting me. When thats the case or in an emergency this type of stuff really makes that hard. Sometimes they have to park and come upstairs to help me down. These are all thing that able bodied people dont think about when they do this kind of stuff. Just because its an open spot does not mean its free for anyone to use. submitted by /u/No-Pizza-4611 |
