Can we please stop with the fireworks now that the Fourth of July is over?
I know many people enjoy celebrating, but it’s several days past the holiday and people are still setting off fireworks late at night. My pets are terrified every time they go off, and it’s been making it really difficult for all of us to get any sleep.
I also know we’re not the only ones affected. Veterans with PTSD, families with young children, people who work early mornings, and wildlife all have to deal with the constant noise.
If you’re still lighting fireworks, please consider calling it a season. The holiday has passed, and a lot of your neighbors would really appreciate being able to enjoy a quiet night again.
