License plate covers of any kind are explicitly illegal in WA state, however they seem to be on every other car. It is a primary offense that they can pull you over for without any other reason. Not trying to start debate, it’s just the law on the books.
Has anyone actually seen that law actually enforced by SPD (or any other local law enforcement agency)?
Curious to see if cops are cracking down on this more frequently with the proliferation of Flock cameras everywhere before I purchase one as I can’t afford to pay a fine for it.
