Hi folks. I am a west coast transplant to the upper Midwest and remotely manage a team with two distinct presences in the Twin Cities and across the entire Puget Sound region. I listen to KEXP every day, and I love Seattle. You all also always came through for us after the shooting at Annunciation and during “Operation Metro Surge.”
My work is based around children, and I am heartbroken that a toddler was murdered shot last night. A member of my staff also has a direct blood relation to someone who was affected. I am being vague, but I am only here because I support my people.
I would like to suggest some vetted mutual aid to my team in both states. They already receive mental health benefits from work, and I am empowered to reward them for things such as volunteering. I would really appreciate some guidance to get them plugged in. Where would you recommend I steer them?
