Thinking about moving to Bellevue

Hi,

My family is considering a move to Bellevue from the Bay Area. It would be a job relocation. My job is in Redmond and my husband would be in Renton. We have a 1.5 year old toddler and a dog. We are originally from the Midwest but have been in California for the past 5 years.

We would most likely buy a house instead of renting. We are nervous about the cloudiness and weather. On the flip side, we do have family in the area (which is why we’re considering moving in the first place). We would be looking at about 380k in combined pretax income. Would love perspectives, things to consider, etc as we make this decision
