What’s the indoor humidity in your house?

I had never before thought much about humidity in Seattle but recently happened to learn that indoor humidity should ideally be between 30-50% and not ever above 60%.

So, I checked our thermostat.

The thermostat in our house has been reading between 60-70% for the last ~10 days. I bought a hygrometer and get similar readings. We have a heat pump AC, though we only run it occasionally when it’s really hot.

Is this just seasonal? Are all of your houses a little extra humid right now? Or do I need to do some more serious investigating / investing?
