Reporting them really helps us a lot, our community is very afraid and we are pretty much hiding all across the US.
I can’t talk for all of the immigrants but most are hard working people, trying to learn and adapt to your country and I’m increíble grateful with the Americans supporting us, I’m sure that you understand that we came here for the same reasons that your grandparents did and we want to build and see this country succeed as much or even more than you do.
My friends are being taken in front of their families (a lot of times with American children), a lot of times violently and it’s incredibly scary to think that you might be next, even if, like me, been in the country for half of my life, studying, volunteering, working hard as a professional, paying my taxes and all of these years legally in the wait for an interview.
I’m writing this post because tomorrow I will have to step out of my house after 2 weeks of being here, scared of being taking away from my son.
