Your editor here was honored to join ANA’s Dan and Joanie Jacobs in presenting the second annual award in the spirit of the late WSB co-founder. Among the many community events and programs offered by West Seattle Runner (a WSB sponsor) is a series of free group training programs for runners and walkers, all getting ready to fire up for fall, as previewed here. Lori is the second annual recipient of this award; the first, announced at last year’s Admiral Block Party, was sustainability advocate Stu Hennessey of Alki Bike and Board.
