I want to buy salal berries, the fruit of the Galtheria shallon plant. Has anyone come across these at farmers markets, farm stands, or anywhere? I’d take them dried or made into jam as well, I know they can be delicate and difficult to pick and keep in tact, which I assume is why I don’t see them around. Hoping maybe somebody has.
