What was once a super-efficient 40-minute no-transfer straight-shot bus from the Renton highlands right into downtown seattle is now a 30min bus ride in crushing 405 traffic with a detour PAST the I-90 north to Bellevue, a 10min connection, and then a 45min ride going BACK SOUTH and across the I-90 on the crowded light rail for a grand total of a ONE HOUR and TWENTY FIVE minute commute. And that’s best-case-scenario, no service disruptions.
It was good while it lasted. Guess it’s back to taking the moped to work for me (50 min and $1.50 in gas)
