I just finished a visit to Seattle from the Midwest and god I love it there. I lived at JBLM for a few years 15 years ago and always told everyone then: “if I could pack up everyone I love, we’d move to Seattle” and I’m doubling down on it. Wonderful city, public transport was a breeze (after the first day lol), incredible walkability. I loved the separate bike lanes. Food was amazing! You can be in the city, the beach, and hiking trails all within an hour of each other. I can’t wait to bring my teens with me next time, in hopes they fall in love with it too. In the meantime, I’ll be manifesting a move there after they graduate college
