Please listen to this message, it may be alarming, but the word must be spread in order to protect innocent, hardworking kids.
Allen Lee from All Clear Windows has very, very unsafe working conditions, and refused to pay me after two weeks of my work. In these two weeks, I showed up before him every single day, and also left after him, I would like to say I worked pretty hard for his company.
Every time I asked Allen for safety equipment, he simply refused (on top of that, he only went up on the roofs with me around 5% of the time, and he was only up there for a few minutes (that is not a true leader in my opinion))-I thought nothing of it, until Wednesday, September 2 around 14:00 I slipped and fell on a roof, and now have severe pain in my lower back, I just turned 20.
After the incident, Allen told me I need to get better balance. He sent me on that roof during rain, it was very slippery; I questioned going up, but he told me it’d be a walk in the park, Allen did not go up on the roof.
After around 35 hours of work, Allen has made excuse after excuse as to why he cannot pay me.
I am not at all worried about payment, I AM WORRIED ABOUT AN INNOCENT YOUNG MAN DYING FROM HIS ACTIONS!
Allen, I hope you can learn from your mistakes, and I will pray for you.
I am reporting this to OSHA, simply because me and many others would not like to see a fatality on his site.
