If you had your rental property managed by **Dwellings Seattle, Inc.** (Roland Gonzalez, President/CEO), please read this.
As of **September 4, 2026**, Dwellings Seattle has ceased operations. Since then, no owner in our group has been able to reach Roland Gonzalez — not by phone, email, or any other channel. Several of us believe he may have left the country.
This has left many of us without access to:
– Records for our properties
– Security deposits and/or rental income that may have been held in trust or operating accounts
– Basic answers about the status of tenants, leases, or maintenance issues
**We believe roughly 130 owners used Dwellings Seattle for property management**, but so far only **36 of us** have connected and organized. If you’re one of the other owners, there’s a good chance you don’t know this happened yet — which is exactly why we’re posting here.
### What we’re doing
We are a group of affected owners currently:
– Consulting with attorneys about a potential lawsuit against Dwellings Seattle, Inc. and Roland Gonzalez personally for breach of contract and violations of property management/landlord-tenant law
– Looking into filing complaints with the WA Department of Licensing and a police report, given that funds may be unaccounted for
– Trying to reach as many affected owners as possible, since a larger group means better legal options and shared cost for representation
