Kindergarten recommendations for Redmond/Bellevue area

Hi My daughter turns five on September 30, 2027, and we’re starting our search for a private kindergarten for her. We quickly learned that a lot of schools have a hard cutoff of August 31st, which rules out quite a few options right away.

We’re based in Redmond and ideally looking at schools in Redmond and Bellevue, but open to Kirkland, Sammamish, and Issaquah too if something’s worth the drive.

We’re specifically looking for an academically focused school rather than Montessori. So far we’re considering: Cascadia and Basis. Would love to hear from anyone with direct experience at these, or other recommendations we should look into — especially schools with a more flexible cutoff.
