Sorry for the boring post. There is an unoccupied house (new construction) next to me which has some sort of alarm that has been sounding since before dawn. We live in a densely populated area and it’s loud enough that we can hear it even with our windows closed. Does anyone have ideas for who I can contact to get the alarm turned off? I called the SPD non-emergency line, and even though they have a phone-tree option for noise complaints, the person I reached there said police do not respond to alarms if a crime has not been committed. So that was a dead-end. Anyone know who else I might be able to contact about this? I can’t listen to this alarm 24/7 for days or weeks. submitted by /u/ZeGermanHam |
