(Hopefully this doesn’t get removed as a dupe since you can see a lot more detail at low tide.) This was at 1 pm when the tide was at 2 ft, the lowest of the day, according to the U.S. Harbors website. It’s at the northernmost point of the North Beach Trail, right before the trail turns and hugs the coast going southwest. I don’t know anything about boat electrical systems or the rate at which chemicals leak into the water, but people should probably NOT go into the water anywhere near it.
