I have lived here for over 30 years but originally grew up in the Midwest where you would hear crickets all night every summer night. But in the 30 years here I don’t think I have ever heard a single cricket in Bellevue. But as of about a month ago, I have started hearing crickets at night. It’s not a lot of them, just a few, but it’s clearly a new thing in this neighborhood (east bellevue, near lake Sammamish). Has anyone else noticed this change? Any idea what could be the cause?
