I live in Capitol Hill. I frequent 15th Ave, and the past year has been business closure D-Day up here. Just in the past year, Ada’s closed, Haunted Burrow, Rubinstein bagels (even though they sucked), and the Coastal Kitchen building has been vacant for well over a year.
Whenever I reach out to these businesses about why they closed, it’s radio silence. I can’t even see if the spaces are up for lease on sites like LoopNet, so what on earth is going on?
