Football? Concert? Fair? Just heading east because you feel like it? We have some I-90 roadwork you’ll want on your radar this weekend.
Two right lanes of eastbound I-90 will close from east of SR 18/Snoqualmie Parkway to SE North Bend Way from 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 to 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28.
Our bridge maintenance crews will be making repairs to the bridge deck, and you should expect delays through the area while the lanes are closed. Please note: this work is weather-dependent so there’s a chance you’ll be able to disregard this message entirely.
Saturday is expected to be a particularly busy day for eastbound travel. Between CWU football in Ellensburg, Jack Johnson at the Gorge, WSU vs. Arizona in Pullman and several other events happening across Central and Eastern Washington this weekend, you may have some company on I-90.
So, if you’re making the trek east, especially Saturday morning: check traffic conditions before you leave via our real-time travel map or app, give yourself some extra time and don’t make kickoff or showtime your ETA.
