In light of the news that came out of New York this week and how the mayor went after DoorDash, I was hopeful Seattle’s very own enforcement agency would do something similar because I am very much convinced DoorDash has been drastically underpaying the estimates to dashers. When you compare the pay on Instacart or Uber eats for a shopping order versus DoorDash it’s night and day, sometimes as much as 50% less, and while it’s not cut and dry, there are reasons and they all pay differently in their methods, I have long suspected that it was not true to Seattle standard So not only are they charging customers out the ass, they’re underpaying the workers from the fees they collect submitted by /u/yomommasbathwater |
