GOT 5 MINUTES? Here’s a request for your thoughts about Seola Pond area access

(2021 WSB photo, volunteer restoration work at Seola Pond)

Seola Pond is a bit of wetland/greenspace area on the southern edge of West Seattle, in unincorporated King County, and the county is asking for five minutes of your time to offer opinions about making it more accessible:

King County Parks has been working with landowners and agency partners in (Arbor) Heights/North Highline area to explore opportunities to improve access to the natural area surrounding Seola Pond. We are currently collecting public feedback with a survey and thought it might be of interest … The survey is open through October 30th, and we wanted to make sure we’re reaching as many neighbors and visitors as possible before it closes!

The survey is available in six languages; click the “survey” tab on this page.
