I’m worried.
I have new neighbors and I have intermittently heard screaming arguments from them since they have moved in. Today, the male resident got really loud and was shouting at his partner and the kids. There was lots of banging noises and the female resident was yelling for him to stop. To get his attention and let him know I could hear, I banged on the floors.
He proceeded to yell about me banging (and my dog barking at him) and slammed the door and left. He later came back and began yelling again and cursing.
I don’t want to call the police unnecessarily (I’m a person of color) and I already notified the property management company. I’m just wondering what any other reasonable fellow Seattle resident would do in this situation. He honestly was behaving in a straight up abusive and unacceptable manner in my opinion, but I don’t want to accidentally make things worse.
