Only at Alki can you take a break from business-district trick-or-treating to snag a photo op with Puget Sound as a backdrop! That’s just one of the scenes we caught during this afternoon’s Alki Trick or Treat event. Businesses all along Alki Avenue participated (along with the Log House Museum a bit inland). Toward the west end, Matt and Elyssa Cichy were passing out popcorn outside Gary’s Place:
Candy was the more-traditional trick-or-treat fare outside their other business West Seattle Arcade:
Heading further east, Future Primitive had treats too:
They were(n’t) clowning around at Spud Fish and Chips:
And of course the Alki Community Council had a hand in the festivities:
Lots of costume creativity, among the adults as well as the littler trick-or-treaters:
Costumed pets were there too:
Today was the sixth annual Alki Trick-or-Treat! West Seattle has two more business-district trick-or-treat events ahead – in The Junction during the Harvest Festival tomorrow (Sunday) 11 am to 2 pm, and in Admiral next Friday (October 30), 3:30 pm-6:30 pm.
