Hey Seattle,
I’m from The Hague in the Netherlands, and I’ve recently learned that we might be weather brothers. Not sister cities. More like two damp cousins wearing the same waterproof jacket.
Grey skies, wind, sideways rain, and that special kind of cold that isn’t impressive on a thermometer but somehow gets into your bones. Pur sky turns grey in Oktober and returns to somewhat blue around April.
So, how do you deal with it? Have you found actual ways to enjoy the grey, or do you just buy better jackets and slowly become emotionally dependent on Netflix, sweatpants and snacks?
Looking for your best coping strategies, from genuinely useful to deeply questionable. We should exchange knowledge. Neither of us is getting enough sunlight to figure this out alone.
All the best, your weather-brothers 💪
