Thanks to everyone who’s sent photos of this beached sailboat on the north shore of Lincoln Park – most recently, these photos from Barry, who observes, “It seems to have dragged anchor.”
Barry has reported it to the Coast Guard.
Another person we just talked with by phone says they’ve seen what they believe to be the same boat anchored offshore for long periods of time, so they might not be aware it’s become beached. Next high tide, meantime, is at 8:39 tonight, though it’s about two feet lower than the 11.4-foot high tide expected just before 11 tomorrow morning.
