Did anyone else notice this during the past couple of months? I can’t be the only one who feels this way. I hope I’m not the only one who feels this way.
For my part, I received at least three mailers from his campaign the contents of which said nothing except some milquetoast platitudes about his dear daddy the Seatac ramp worker and some other generic stuff about the cost of living and affordability.
Nothing about reigning in ICE, nothing about the War of Choice in Iran, and nothing about his position on Israel or the AIPAC donations he’s accepted over the years. And certainly nothing about holding the current administration accountable for everything they have done the past two years. I could go on but suffice to say I didn’t vote for him.
Adam Smith is the WA state version of Hakeem Jeffries and I just don’t expect any kind of meaningful change or leadership from him or those like him.
I want to be electrified and ecstatic about today’s midterm election news but the honeymoon for that feels like it’s already over.
