Feb 17 – ‘No Kings’ Rally: Seattle folks, where & when are we meeting for maximum peaceful impact?

r/50501 is calling for peaceful mass rallies around the country on Presidents’ Day. Surely we Seattlites are going to show up! I’ve checked the event organizing link associated with 50501 and don’t yet see a Seattle listing. If there are Seattle-based 50501 organizers on the case, could you let us know the status (even if it’s ‘we don’t yet know where/when, but we’re working on it’).

If there aren’t yet Seattle-based organizers working with 50501, where do folks want to meet and when? On 2/5 many of us showed up at the Federal Building on 2nd Avenue. Given that the 17th is a federal holiday and that part of downtown will be quiet, should we consider rendezvousing somewhere more visible (such as the Overlook Walk area between the waterfront and Pike Place Market?
