I mention this fact in the Seattle subreddit because I’ve seen a lot of posts here that are frankly shocking to me in their cavalier attitude towards the current moment.
Elon Musk is a Nazi, and the current president of the United States
Donald Trump is a Nazi, and the figurehead for President Musk
They collectively lead a Nazi party
Opposing that party is a moral duty
Performatively and publicly spurning the symbols of that party is morally righteous (though not, of course, the only thing we need to do)
It is not possible for Seattle to escape what’s coming, and we need to be very serious about our duty of care towards our home. And that’s all I have to say about that.
