Hello all! Just wanted to share my most recent project. I designed a follow up/companion to the “Washington State Ferry” I made a couple of months back; this time of the MV Kalakala! This is one of my most favorite historical maritime vessels, and I’ve been wanting to make a model of it for quite some time; but am still building up my comfort and confidence when it comes to modelling organic and curvy shapes. As an exercise, I am really happy with how this came out! I am sure many people in this subreddit know about this unique ferry – but I really like this evergreen fleet blog post/article about the Kalakala and her history.
