23yo disabled looking for first job with high school diploma

My partner will be moving to Seattle to live with me next year. They are 23yo with a high school diploma. They have no prior work experience due to living in a very rural area and being too chronically ill for hard labor. We are hoping that finding a job would be easier in Seattle now that he have reliable transportation and can apply for in person jobs. But seeing so many able bodied people with degrees struggling with job hunting makes me quite worried. With the current job market, is it realistic for a 23yo disabled & chronically ill person with no prior work experience to find a job? What are the most plausible options we should look into? I’d really appreciate any advice 🙏

Some of their strengths: – They are a great fan artist and have a lot of experience taking commissions. – They are very good with animals. – They make great meals and bakeries! – They know a lot about goth and Lolita fashion and have a great sense of style.

The job doesn’t need to be high paying since I make enough to pay for our rent & essentials. We are looking for a job thats beginner friendly, not physically intense, and would be accommodating towards sick leaves.

If anyone has any suggestions- apprenticeships, specific employers in need of workers, disability-friendly workplaces, volunteer-to-paid pipelines, niche shops that might be interested in their skill set , anything – I’d really appreciate the help. Thank you so much! 🙏
