405 fireworks?

Anyone driving along 405 by VMAC hear (what sounded like) fireworks? It was like 5 sets of 3-4 staccato bursts. Too boomy to be gunfire/backfire, and nothing like that happening on the 405 construction. Bizarre! (If you’re reading this later, this was ~7:40 am.)
