Judkins Park Station (which I assume will actually open up at some point) and Mount Baker Station are so close together yet require a bus or transfer at CID to go between. This made me think, what if we used fixing that as a jumping off point for a new streetcar line (or light rail, I’d be cool with light rail too) extending the Capitol Hill trolley into further northern Capitol Hill and then back down through the CD and into the Rainier Valley? The two oranges are the existing streetcars, pink/green/blue are existing or currently planned light rail lines, the lighter blue is the water taxi, and the reddish is the monorail. Thoughts? My assumption is the hardest part (politically) would be that bit by volunteer park.
