In the above image: On the left, Jefferson Park tennis courts. On the right, the playground. It’s a rare dry winter evening, might as well get the kid out of the house. Let’s go to the playground! Only problem: This image shows what most playgrounds in Seattle look like. Not only are they poorly lit (or not lit at all), but they managed to install some really bright lights on the tennis court next door. Note that despite the poor lighting, there were actually more people using the playground than the tennis courts. Anyways, Seattle Parks. Can you please add some adequate lighting for the city playgrounds? This way the kids can actually use the playgrounds after 4:30 pm during the winter. submitted by /u/RockOperaPenguin |
