As the title says I found an abandoned dog in a Lowes box left on the side of the road near South Seattle College this evening. I happened upon them while walking my own along 16th Ave which is decently busy. The dog looks healthy, but was clearly scared and had nothing to eat except some of those peanut butter stuffed prtezel snacks. Due to personal situations I couldnt take her in and she is now with the Seattle Aninal Shelter in Interbay. Despite the photo this sweet girl according to the shelter is actually a couple years old and seems to be a mixed breed with some chihuahua. If anyone is interested in fostering or adopting, I’d recommend checking in on her in a few days. She was really sweet during the ride over, but was definitely anxious and scared. She wasn’t a fan of when I approached her and shied away from my hand(I’m probably pretty imposing to her as I’m a decently big guy). That said, she was more comfortable and somewhat interactive with the female shelther staff when I dropped her off.
