I am looking to do something that is not IT related in the area, but I’d still like to make a lot of money. Just kind of tired of the industry in general.
If you listen to the blue collar workers around social media, they’re all pulling 100k+ plus but I can’t find any actual data to support this for pretty much any trade or vocation. It’s like business owners only. The averages appear to be topping below 100k for career highs of people working the actual jobs. Eventually I’d shoot to work for myself but I doubt you can come out of the gate doing that.
What I’m looking for is good data regarding active jobs (where you don’t sit on your ass all day) that actually pay 100k+ like IT jobs do. What is the general experience you all have or what kind of sources do you have to back assertions of high salaries for blue collar work? The target salary is to continue to afford to support my family. I own a house, need to pay for education, groceries, vehicle maintenance, vet bills, etc. shit adds up around here super quick.
