Hey everyone, I’m trying to connect with other Seattle-based Starbucks partners who were hit by the recent layoffs and also didn’t receive their final paycheck last Friday. A few of us were told we’d be paid out on the regular payroll schedule, but Friday came and went with nothing in our accounts. No email, no breakdown, no explanation. Some of us are depending on that check for rent and bills, so this delay is putting people in a really rough spot. If you’re in the same boat: Did you receive any communication from HR or Partner Resources? Were you able to reach someone who actually provided an answer? Did anyone get clarity on severance, PTO payout timing, or final pay? It would be helpful to compare notes. A lot of partners feel completely left in the dark right now, and the more information we can gather, the better we can advocate for ourselves. Appreciate anyone willing to share what they know.
