As a homeless kid in high school, I was given a gallon sized ziplock bag full of old bus transfers by another fellow uhhoused person. I would faithfully check the transfer color every morning on that Facebook page. I would have had a very hard time without those as my resources for transportation, so i’d like to take this time to reflect on how much gratitude I have for the participants of that page.
Sidebar while I am on the topic of King County specific Facebook pages- does anyone remember Legit Functions? (later named Elite Projects). What a wild time to be alive.
