Apartments near Microsoft

Hi all, I’m looking for a studio/1b apartment near Microsoft. I am noise-sensitive, and I’d prefer a quiet place with minimal maintenance effort. I can neither come for a physical tour nor stay in a hotel/airbnb for a while to check which apartment suits my needs, because I live in another state and I have important furniture to move across states.

I’ve done some research, contacted multiple apartments, and ended up with the following options, each having its own pros & cons (based on my own speculation, not backed by facts):

  • Bellevue Meadows Apartments:
    • Pros: Recent reviews seem good, quiet, next to a fitness center, large space.
    • Cons:
      • It’s an old apartment, and the amenities and furniture require maintenance.
      • Too much grass and trees basically mean there are potentially lots of insects and pests, which I hate.
      • Studio’s bedroom is right next to the neighbor’s bedroom, causing potential noise issues.
  • AVA Esterra Park:
    • Pros: Highly rated, next to grocery & restaurants, has its own fitness center, lower rent compared to the alternatives.
    • Cons:
      • I’ve seen pretty negative reviews recently regarding garbage truck noise and shady leasing & billing issues.
      • Internet speed is somehow slower compared to the alternatives.
  • Nightingale:
    • Pros: Highly rated, next to grocery & restaurants, closest to my workplace, has its own fitness center, amenities & furniture seem super modern.
    • Cons:
      • Overall cost seems higher than the alternatives.
      • They acknowledge potential noise issues from garbage trucks and neighbors upstairs/downstairs.
      • I have to get my own internet (I currently use AT&T but they don’t support it).

I’d greatly appreciate thoughts from current/former residents at these apartments and also recommendations for other apartments near Microsoft. Also, all 3 options above charge 2-month penalty fee for breaking the lease early. Is this expected for most apartments in Redmond/Bellevue?

Thank you very much in advance!
