Arranging a Hajj-type visit to your city, as I am a grunge fan.

I come from Manchester in the UK, a similar city except we don’t have a volcano close by. I’m wondering if there are any music venues I should pay a visit to. Seeing as it is a pilgrimage. Thanks in advance
