The elevator in my building has been down for about a year. Last we heard anything about this, the property management company claims that they were waiting for a permit from the city and this was months ago. Which is bullshit, because this information is public through the city’s portal and no such permit exists.
Myself and other residents have contacted SDCI and submitted complaints to them but nothing has been done. We’ve got at least one tenant with a physical disability who has been forced to climb two flights to their unit. Who can I contact here? SDCI hasn’t done anything – I’ve seen people mention calling the fire department but not sure which number is best here since they have a few depending on the topic.
