Congratulations on becoming a registered voter in Washington state! We have very competitive elections right now so let’s introduce you to the challengers.
As you know we have a non-partisan primary, but that doesn’t mean we don’t divide by party, so just ignore that little d or r by their name
Fatima Abadi (D)
- Young, female, progressive from south Asia or the Middle East
- will always be outflanked by the corporate dem incumbent either in the primary or in the general election
- somehow manages to rally like one farmers organization and then said organization instantly collapses
Bob Robobertson (D)
- Surprisingly young even though it feels like he’s been in power since before you can remember
- either the incumbent this election or last election
- endorsed by every union despite voting for the “feed all unions to gargaroth the destroyer” bill
- All the media treats him as fighting an upward battle even though he’ll be elected in a landslide
Steven Hicks (R)
- Was elected in one of the conservative waves like 2014, 2016, or 2022
- Hasnt held office in 5 years
- Seems really moderate until you look at his voting history where he voted to revive Hitler
- hailed as the champion of moderate conservatism by KING 5 and KOMO news
- Gets frequently ratiod on twitter
Janet Margaret (R)
- Hitler incarnate
- Doesnt even try to hide it
- makes it the centerpiece of her campaign
- easy campaign fodder for everyone else
- somehow always a woman fulfilling this role
Huong Spolinsky (I/R)
- Weird maverick candidate that can’t seem to decide whether they’re a moderate conservative or hyper-progressive
- Low taxes high spending, please just elect me I’ll do anything
- Either from Southeast Asia or Eastern Europe
- Really popular in a niche circle but nobody else has heard of them
